How AI booking works

The FlowVerse AI does not just "take booking requests" — it books into a real calendar.

1. Live availability: your working hours, doctors, treatment durations, and holidays live in the dashboard. The AI only ever offers slots that are genuinely free.
2. Booking: when the patient picks a time, the slot is reserved instantly — no double-booking, even if two patients ask at once.
3. Two ways to book: patients can book by chatting normally, or fill out an in-chat booking form (WhatsApp Flows) that walks them through it step by step — treatment → doctor → date → time.
4. Cancellation: if a patient cancels (in chat or by staff), the slot is released automatically and the waitlist is notified.
5. Waitlist: when a day is full, the AI offers the waitlist. Freed slots go to waiting patients fairly, in order.
6. Emergencies: a separate safety layer — not the AI's judgment alone — detects urgent cases (pain, bleeding, swelling) and immediately alerts your staff with the conversation summary. This gate is deterministic: emergencies always reach a human.

Staff can always book, move, or cancel manually from the calendar — the AI and your team share one source of truth.
